Happiness

I feel so blessed to have the family I have. I love it when we have days when we can just spend time as a family and enjoy of each other's company without all the stress and bussiness of the week.

I love watching Carlie and Jenna laugh and play together. Seeing how they compliment each other - watching their relationship develop as Jenna gets older and is able to express herself more. One of my favorite times with them is when they are in the car and they are making each other laugh and i just hear giggles.

Jenna is such a happy girl. She is always ready for action and always has a smile on her face. She loves Carlie and is always happy to see her and wants to be with her. She is crawling everywhere. She is a curious little person. She is a momy's girl and i love it. I love Jenna!

Carlie is my little drama queen and always wants attention. Somedays she is 2 going on 16. She is a little cautions when it comes to trying new things. She is my little helper. She loves to go shopping (grocery is mostly the kind of shopping I do) and loves to go everywhere with me. She likes to help me cook. She loves to sing and loves music. She enjoys toddler time at the library. She loves to color. We have fun moments where we just laugh together and I love it. She has such a tender heart. If she sees you are sad or crying she is so willing to share her blankey to make you feel better. I love carlie!

Oranized or OCD?

Carlie loves little things. (little statues, little legos, and more specific small balls. She is obsessed with balls. In case anyone hasn't seen how Carlie likes to play with her toys...here it is.

Yes, she does the same with her bathtub toys.

Christmas 2011

Christmas was a little different this year. I worked Christmas Eve but afterwards reunited with Janson and the kids at Susan's house to enjoy a small family asian dinner with susan, larry, molly and cammi.

Christmas dinner was actually done on Dec 26th since on the actual christmas day a lot of the family was not going to be there (since Casey and Christine had their baby on the 23rd and Emily was comming back from visiting her inlaws on the 26th).

But once we all got together we enjoyed great food and lots of fun games that Molly (mrs. creativity) came up with. Both my parents and Christine parents joined in the festivities that day. It was a lot of fun!

I think I was more excited about Christmas this year because of the gifts Carlie was getting. I was anxiously waiting to see how she would react to her gifts. She got a play kitchen fom Santa with its accessories and food from Emilly and my mom. Susan and Larry got her this really cute kid table...All of which she LOVES. She also got some books which she really loves. We love reading together.

HALLOWEEN

I Love Halloween. So we went all out for our costumes for ward's fall festival.. i think we were the only ones dressed up scary. hope we didn't scare any kids. Janson was Frankenstein (in case it wasn't obvious enough), I was Frankensteins wife, Carlie was tinker-bell, and Jenna was a pumpkin. they had many activities for the kids (craft station, ballon animals, coffin races, etc.) On halloween night I was working but Janson took the girls to the mall for trick or treats with our friends the Wojciechowski's who have the cute twins. Carlie was so excited to wear makeup and her tinker-bell dress.

Memories in the making

One of the things I enjoyed about the fish family that I learned of when I first married Janson was the fun competitions they had. For example take his gingerbread house competition. Janson and Justin were top rivals and each were planning their gingerbread houses for WEEKS before the competition. Janson pre-baked a sample of gingerbread he made FROM SCRATCH to make sure it was what he wanted. He found a template for the house and pretty much built this wonderful victorian style house from scratch - with built in lights for the fence. Who was the winner? Janson - winning the grand prize.

WHO WAS RUNNER UP?.........

CAMMI AND I were runner ups with this ginger bread house (above) made from a KIT that we both worked on. Thinking we had no chance against Janson and Justing we started messing around but in the end created a gingerbread master piece in the eyes of the judges - beating Justin's San Fransico style gingerbread house.
