HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME

For my birthday i spent it with my two wonderful girls and i invited my parents to come along (janson was out of town for the week due to work- but we celebrated when he got back). We ended up going to the denver aquarium, which the girls loved, and then out to dinner to my new favorite restaurant - The White Chocolate Grill. It's probably a good thing that it is a distance from here because i am addicted to their tender filet steak sandwich.... if heaven tasted like anything i really think this would be it. Farewell summer

One of the things i have enjoyed the most this summer is having friends and family over and just enjoying of each other's company. On this particular day it was a Sunday evening. We had some friends over for desserts and had the fire-pit going. We let the kids go crazy and practically had no control on how many sweets they ate - from cupcakes, to s'mores to sugar cookies. Needless to say they were very active. We finally set up a little fort for them where we set up our computer so they could watch a movie.

 It was nice to enjoy having my family over for dinner and a fire in the cool evening playing a good ol game of SEQUENCE...we just missed Dan and his family!
